The core mental model
Content and presentation are deliberately separated:
content/*.tsxfiles hold typed copy — one file per route (home.tsx,pricing.tsx,contact.tsx, etc.), exporting a single typed content object. Shared shapes live incontent/types.tsx.page.tsxfiles are thin. They import a content object and spread its fields into section components rendered insideSiteShell.
To change on-page copy, edit the content file — not the component. That single rule covers the majority of day-to-day customization for a template buyer.
Beyond that, the codebase follows a few other deliberate patterns worth knowing before you start editing:
- Blog posts and case studies are
.mdxfiles with YAML frontmatter, compiled on demand rather than imported as bundler modules — see Writing Articles. - Components are layered atomic-design style (
ui→molecules→organisms→templates) — see Component Architecture. - Scroll animation is driven by declarative
data-*attributes rather than bespoke GSAP code per section — see Animation System. - Design tokens are CSS custom properties, not a
tailwind.config.*file — see Styling & Theming.
